Learning Outcomes :- The Students will be able to:-

Learning Objectives :- To make the Students able to state the meaning of Gender
:- To make them able to explain the role of Stereotyping to discriminate between boys
and girls
:- To make them able to analyze about the gender inequalities and their adverse
effects
:- To make them realize the need of Gender equality in our Society
Content Flow: Meaning of Gender:- Gender refers to the different values attitudes and behaviors that are attached to the roles of Males and Females by different Social and Cultural Groups.
Roles of Boys and Girls:- Stereotypical Gender Roles and kinds of behavior acceptable from boys and girls.
Gender inequalities and their different forms:- Mortality inequality, Natality inequality, basic facilities inequality, Special opportunity inequality, Professional inequality, Ownership inequality, Household inequality etc.
Education and Awareness:- Education and Awareness has empowered the Woman to emerge as a powerful force in political and economical spheres.
Need of Gender equality:- Shared power and responsibility between women and men at home in the workplace at national and international levels would help to create harmony within two family and society.
Teaching strategy /methodology:-
- Different teaching skills will be used according to the different students to make able to explain the concepts of the chapters (Explanation, diagrams practice, discussion, role play, Dramatization, presenting examples.
2. The teacher will introduce and explain the meaning and roles of Gender .
- Conceptual diagram that will show the forms of inequalities and relevant examples.
- 4.Group discussion on the types of Gender inequalities with sharing their daily life experiences.
5. By role dramatizations students will show the need of Gender equalities by interchanging their roles.
