1)
Prepare
a time line of events of the history of Indian National Congress from its
establishment to Independence. Collect photographs related to it and arrange
them in this chart.
2)
Media
played a very important role in the success of Indian National Movement. Find out
the names of prominent newspapers of that time. Also the kinds of media
publicity used at that time.
3)
In
1922, Gandhi ji called off his Non-Cooperation Movement after Chauri Chaura
incident, even when the movement was on its peak. Imagine that you were a
journalist at that time and you got an assignment to interview Mahatma Gandhi
asking him to justify his decision.
4)
Gather
a collection of movies based on Indian Nationalism. See those movies and
identify the major issues of Nationalism raised through them. Put your thoughts
in your Diary.
Homework
1)
After
an interaction session and displaying the images of various freedom fighters
and events related to India’s Freedom struggle, teachers will ask students to
identify the Moderate and Radical leaders.

Using
Discussion method teacher will ask students the difference between ideas and
strategies of Moderates and Radicals by using the concepts they have learned in
