          Sub -topic– Andaman -Nicobar -location
 Day 1     INTRODUCTION
The teacher will come to the  class and   check the previous knowledge of the students about Andaman -Nicobar .Once  the students  answer,the teacher will procede with the chapter and introduce -Respecting Regional Difference along with the meaning of the chapter .
ACTIVITY -1
The teacher will show a set of colour pencils to the children and ask students about different colours of the pencils in the set .Then she would ask the students that since all of them are together despite being of different colors ,so they form a set .
Teacher to read the poem (from the PPT  )C:\Users\STUDENT-SRLAB-02\Desktop\RESPECTING REGIONAL DIFFERENCES.pptx and introduce the topic – Andaman and Nicobar.
            Location and tribes of  Andaman –Nicobar . A political map of India (As teaching aid ).

DAY 2 – To  introduce art and architecture .food and dresses of Andaman –Nicobar   .( Interactive and brainstorming  session )
Sub -topic – Dance music and languages
Day 3 – Dance ,religion and languages of people of Andaman –Nicobar  -Discussion method
Students will also understand why these islands are famous as ‘ mini India ‘

DAY 5 -  Rajasthan –its food ,dresses ,dance and music ,languages will be taken up  with the help of discussion . ( Presentation by the students of Rajasthan song or dance )

DAY 6 – Importance of unity in diversity as  binding strength in India . DISCUSSION
ACTIVITY 2   MY COUNTRY -MY PRIDE  (COLLAGE MAKING)
Teacher will paste a  blank map of India on the board .She would ask each student to write on a piece of paper   three things  they associate with their country .They can write a word/slogan /phrase  and paste that on the blank map on the board . Thus a collage will be created and teacher will display on the board
               Day 7 – Discussing back exercises and some questions to be given as home task . Map skills of students to be developed by  doing map work .  (Political map of India ) Students to bring their  Atlas book for reference work .
