Teacher will conduct a election of monitor in the class. After conducting this activity teacher will explain the concept of democracy to the students.



This topic will be explained by lecture and explanation method


Video of some non-democratic country and the problem faced by that people will be shown. After showing the video teacher will explain why it is important to have a democracy in a country.




A debatewill  beorganised in the class. Teacher willadvice the student to do some research work on non-democratic country.




Some paper cutting will be used which will show involvement of larger number of people in policy formation. After that teacher will explain the broader meaning of a democracy and a good democracy.
